The King, desperate to bring his daughter back to the palace, hires a shrewd Detective. Accompanied by the royal guards, the Detective drives off to carry out the mission. Meanwhile, the Bremen Town Musicians rest and sing in a sunlit meadow, while the Princess wanders nearby picking flowers. Suddenly, the king’s guards, hiding under haystacks, snatch her away. The Troubadour and his friends—the Donkey, the Dog, the Cat, and the Rooster—rush to rescue the Princess from her golden cage. To distract the King and the Detective, they disguise themselves as glamorous singers and parody popular Western rock bands. Amid the chaos they create, the Troubadour slips into the palace and saves his beloved.
