Measure For Measure （Reel）

Measure For Measure was an educational film about the metric system produced by the Computer Graphics Lab at the New York Institute of Technology in 1978. The lab's 2D animation team consisted of a variety of artists ranging from students to Disney and Fliescher Studios and Disney veterans. Measure For Measure was traditionally animated on paper before being scanned in, colorized, and composited digitally through the lab's SoftCel system, developed by Garland Stern. The film was never released, originally ran 14 minutes long, and was screened at the 1979 SIGGRAPH conference by Ed Catmull. This clip comes from a demo reel dating roughly 1979.
