Miracle Lady

Miracle Lady is a short, puppet animation film that tells the story of two old women who spend their days waiting. Fortuna, a 75 years old lady, is sitting in her wedding gown waiting for her late husband to come back home. Meanwhile, her next door neighbor's old servant, Marcela Merkada, wishes to end her miserable life. An old, forgotten miracle that happened a long time ago, changes the two women's lives, and inevitably, their fates.

Miracle Lady is Moran Somer and Michal Abulafia's graduation film from the department of animation in the Bezalel academy of Art & design in Jerusalem.
