美国实验电影制作者比尔·莫里森2004年的新作《Light Is Calling》，取材于James Young的早期歌特无声电影《The Bells》（1926）中的一段情节，讲男女主人公的第一次相遇，但叙事情节在这部短片中已经非常模糊和抽象化了，更主要的是莫里森对胶片和其他影像实体所采取的燃烧，溶解等手段所创造出来一种极端意识流让人眼花缭乱的画面，背景音乐依然来自莫里森的老搭挡，美国实验音乐家迈克·戈登（Michael Gordon），资料来源于比尔·莫里森实验作品全集。
